In our previous post  we gave a detailed explanation of what you could possibly experience as new mother in the first few months of your baby's birth.. However, this article is the second inline to the previous post.

Do you sleep at all? This is a question a lot of new mothers will give you an answer between "yes and no," while some will tell you that they only manage to sleep whenever the baby is asleep and wake up long before the baby wakes. Most new moms do some cleaning when the baby is asleep during the day, should this continue you will easily get tired because your body seriously needs rest. Actually, there are two good solutions to this. First, while the baby is asleep during the day you should also get some sleep so that your body can rest, recharge and be energized again. The second solution is to get a helper who will help you with some house chores.

In the first month of a baby's life she is always asleep and is easily woken up thus a wonderful idea to make sure that the noise level is very low while she sleeps. Just a small number of new born babies sleep through the night during the first four weeks. A lot wake up every three of four hours with the need to be fed and changed, and this, is a necessity. However, there is a way to sleep at night while your baby is been fed. Get daddy into the mix, you didn't get yourself pregnant, so daddy has to help out. Though, a lot of men like to run away from such responsibility but you can diplomatic get daddy to do it while you sleep.

If you had a little of the time your baby had a wet diaper, you would probably be on forbes list. Babies are always in need of a diaper change, and this is normal. However, if you observe that your baby can stay a day or night without changing diaper then should you get in touch with your doctor.

It is a known fact that babies are known for crying. However, the rate of crying differs from one baby to another, some always cry while some hardly cry. What is important is that babies do cry and this is normal. It is also important for you to understand that babies cry for reasons other than hunger. Sometimes, they are wet, thirsty for water and maybe just acting up. If you are close enough to your baby you will learn to understand the meaning behind each cry.

As a new mom and dad, it is very important that you get yourself fully prepared for the arrival of your baby. Get more information from your doctor. Remember to read our previous post

  5. I remember how incredibly and impossibly tired I was in those first few months of babies. I am glad it was a passing phase, but at the same time it is such an amazing time. Balancing rest and enjoyment was a challenge but necessary.

  7. Beautiful baby! Mine is over an year old now. But the first 3 months were real tough on us since she had colic. Instead of sleeping most of the time like other babies do, she cried for hours at a stretch. Thank God that phase is over now !

  8. It was a struggle, really having to juggle corporate job and daddy duties. But I am glad I survived and fortunately my little babies, three in all were grown-up young ladies now

  21. Keeping the noise level low is a good idea when you have a newborn. It makes it easier for them to rest.

  22. I went back to work after my baby had 6 months. I never lower the noise in my house. I kept everything like it is and my baby adapted to the noise, you have to teach them that to the noise is patt of life.
